Oliva

Oliva is not only the nearest coastal town, but, thanks to its soft and sandy beaches, also one of the most beautiful.

The ten kilometer long beach of this town, located on the Mediterranean Sea, is right between the Costa Blanca (Dénia, Jávea, Moraira, Calp, Benidorm and Alicante) and the Costa del Azahar (Gandia and Valencia). Its sand dunes, low-rise buildings and lack of a plethora of beachfront bars and restaurants set Oliva apart from the surrounding (and more commercial) coastal towns. Since it is mainly Spaniards who come here to enjoy the sun, the sea and the beach, it is usually quiet – even in summer. The majority of the accommodations are after all holiday homes, which are mostly visited during weekends and holidays.

Although Oliva also has a historic town centre, it is three kilometers (and a thirty minute walk) from the beach.

Are you tired of sunbathing or making long walks on the beach and do you prefer to do something active? You can rent jet skis in the port of Oliva. Is it your first time? Don’t worry. A guide will go with you to make sure it’s safe.

Food and drinks

Are you at the beach? Then you can enjoy delicious food at both Mandela (Italian) and Soqueta (more expensive segment). Are you in town? Then El Pelut and El Lloc are highly recommended.
